Services include but are not limited to: custom deck design and construction, composite and wood decking installation, fence installation, deck repair and replacement, pergola installation, covered patios, and related outdoor living structures.
The specific scope of work for any project is described in the written contract or proposal provided to the customer before work begins. Services not listed in the written contract are not included unless agreed upon in writing.
All estimates and proposals provided by Custom Santa Rosa Deck & Fence are based on information available at the time of the site visit and the scope of work described. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date they are issued unless otherwise noted.
A written estimate is not a binding contract. Work begins only after a written contract or proposal is signed by both parties. The final contract price reflects the agreed scope of work. Changes to the scope of work after the contract is signed may result in additional charges, which will be documented in a written change order before the additional work is performed.
Prices may be affected by changes in material costs, permit fees, or site conditions discovered after work begins. Any such changes will be communicated to the customer and documented in writing.
Project start dates are estimates and may be subject to change due to permit processing times, material availability, weather, or other factors outside our control. We will communicate any schedule changes to the customer as soon as possible.
If you need to cancel or postpone a project after signing a contract, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation terms, including any deposits or fees that may apply, are specified in the written contract. If work has already begun, you are responsible for the cost of work completed and materials purchased up to the date of cancellation.
Custom Santa Rosa Deck & Fence reserves the right to reschedule or decline work due to unsafe site conditions, weather, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Payment terms are outlined in the written contract provided for each project. Typical payment schedules include a deposit due at contract signing, progress payments at defined project milestones, and a final payment upon substantial completion of the work.
Payment is due on the dates specified in the contract. Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by applicable law. If payment is not received, Custom Santa Rosa Deck & Fence reserves the right to stop work until payment is made, and to pursue collection through legally available means.
Accepted payment methods are specified in the written contract. All prices are in US dollars.
Where required, Custom Santa Rosa Deck & Fence will apply for applicable building permits on behalf of the customer. Permit fees are included in or added to the project contract. The customer is responsible for ensuring that any HOA or other private approval required for the project is obtained before work begins.
Custom Santa Rosa Deck & Fence constructs all projects in accordance with applicable building codes and permit requirements. The customer agrees to provide reasonable access to the property for city or county inspections required as part of the permit process.
Custom Santa Rosa Deck & Fence warrants its workmanship against defects for the period specified in the written contract. This warranty covers defects in the installation resulting from our work, but does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by weather events, improper use or maintenance, or modifications made by others after project completion.
Materials and products installed by Custom Santa Rosa Deck & Fence may carry manufacturer warranties, which are separate from our workmanship warranty. Custom Santa Rosa Deck & Fencewill provide the customer with available manufacturer warranty documentation upon project completion.
Except as described above, Custom Santa Rosa Deck & Fence makes no other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Custom Santa Rosa Deck & Fence shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the services provided or the use of our website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Custom Santa Rosa Deck & Fencefor the project giving rise to the claim.
